Villa 23 Residence

The people are lovely and the place is accommodating. It gets noisy in the early morning because the walls are a bit thin, though nights are quiet. There’s a great cafe next door.

The room had good keycard locks, both for the room and the building, and there was plenty of tidy parking on a paved lot. The place is comfortable, clean, and modern, with a good mattress and bathroom. The people were very friendly, though I can’t say whether they speak English since my Thai friend arranged everything. It’s a nice option in the Ram Intra suburb, with Don Muang airport nearby if you have a flight. There are local restaurants and shops around, plus a market area with fruit and food stalls.

There’s plenty of privacy here, and it doesn’t feel crowded. The rooms are attractive and clean, and would suit either a short or longer stay. It’s quiet, has the usual facilities like a kettle, hair dryer, TV, and a sink outside the room, and the price is affordable.

We paid 800 baht for one night at Villa 23, plus a 500 baht deposit. They only took cash. The room was clean and fine for a night, but dark, small, and poorly furnished for the week we’d originally planned, especially at that price, so we moved elsewhere. They wouldn’t return the 500 baht deposit in cash and would only send it back to a card account. That really pissed me off. It’s clean, but very expensive.
