The building felt old, and there were small creatures crawling around. It was damp and smelly. They had no toiletries, and the bed linen looked ancient and dead. All the female staff were very rude, except for one kind male receptionist.

I only stayed one night, and the room was clean and decent for the price. What stood out most was Ms. Tanapong at reception. She was genuinely kind and willing to help whenever needed, and made me feel very welcome.

Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else. This was nothing like the listing: the room was dirty and smelled of mold, the door barely had a lock, there was no A/C remote so I couldn’t turn it on, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. There was even a note saying the hotel wasn’t responsible if belongings were stolen. They wouldn’t refund the room.

A bit dated, but decent for what you pay. The staff were friendly and spoke English. Riverside and Chinatown are easy to reach on foot.
