The room was great, from the beds and bathroom to the practical table where I could work on my laptop. The swimming pool was very nice too. It rained a lot during my visit, so I didn't get to swim much, but I still enjoyed it. One problem was that the room's modern buttons for turning on "Do not disturb" didn't work. I would have preferred the maid not to enter while I was away, but she did. She threw out my plastic bag from the bathroom, which I use to pack my bar of soap when I travel. I had to find another one. Guests' belongings shouldn't be thrown away unless they're in the dustbin. Sadly, the neighborhood didn't feel safe. There are stray dogs that bark and chase people after dark. I watched a delivery man stop his motorobike because the dogs wouldn't let him pass. I wish the hotel would work with the municipality to get the stray dog problem solved.

The breakfast was amazing, better than some local food I've tried. But if you're expecting actual TV channels, this isn't the place, and it's not a smart TV hotel at all. You'll have to use your phone to watch anything good. In the end, it's a discount hotel at a great price, and you get what you pay for.

It’s an older, large hotel that’s still okay, though it feels past its best and sits a little outside the city center. There’s a pool with a shallow section for kids, and the fun cat cafe Four Legs in Love is right next door.

The pool is small, but plenty big enough for me. It’s a budget place, and the staff are superb.
