This guesthouse is well worth the price. The room is spacious, the bed is neither too soft nor too hard, everything is clean, and there's hot water in the shower. The bar makes a good cocktail. They even have a poster reminding guests to use condoms to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, which is an excellent idea. You can find everything you need nearby, and the beach is only a 3 minute walk.

We booked a fan room, number 7. It stayed cool enough at night, unless you want to spoon, but come sunrise it's best to get out of there. We borrowed an extra fan from downstairs. The TV reception was poor, though there were about 5 English channels. The dresser window wouldn't lock, so you might want to ask the owner to check it. We didn't mention it since we had no valuables. The shower has just one temperature, whatever the water in the pipes happens to be, but it was fine for showering. The shower pipe is kinked. Straighten it out and you get good pressure and plenty of water. It's a cheap option if you're going to spend your days at the beach or sightseeing. The owner and his wife are always around and happy to answer questions about food or other things to do nearby.
