It’s a classic Thai beach hotel with a bit of that “past glory” feeling. Some smart renovations have made a noticeable difference, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and good. The view from the beachfront is excellent. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. This isn’t a flashy modern resort, but it’s good value if you want to be by the ocean without paying a huge amount. The beachside location is the best part, especially if fancy amenities aren’t what you’re after.

The hotel sits just off the beach road, with easy access to the beach. It shows its age in places, but at this price I can’t complain. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and breakfast has a good mix of Thai and Western food. The pool was a bit cold in Dec/Jan, and the WiFi was the one real problem, absolutely garbage. I’d stay again. We came back for Songkran and the pool temperature was ideal. For WiFi, we used the local areas, like the lobby and 16th floor, where it worked better than the general network. The rest of my earlier review still stands.

I was staying on level 16, and the internet was very bad. There’s no elevator to the garage, so getting up from there was hard for me. It’s stupid, since a normal hotel has an elevator to the parking garage.

The breakfast was great, with lots of meals to choose from. Service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, awesome, and helpful. The swimming pool was great too. It’s an excellent place in a great location, very close to the beach, just walk out onto the road and you’re there.

The room is spacious, though the toilet area is a bit small, and the WiFi signal isn’t strong. The hotel restaurant serves good food, and the staff are helpful. There’s a 7-eleven within walking distance. Good value for money.
