I didn't feel safe here. There were always dogs barking next door, and locals sat around watching foreigners. The photos are deceiving, so avoid this place at all cost. Pay a few dollars more for the proper resort next door. It's a small plot in the heart of the village, with a handful of bungalows that perhaps the land owner built himself. There are no facilities and no reception, so motel might be a better description. It was overpriced and not very clean.

We loved Phetnamnueng Resort. It was a peaceful place to be close to nature, and a worthwhile spot for our weekend escape from the city noise.

Cockroaches in the room, and it wasn't clean at all. The staff weren't helpful and had a poor attitude.

Clean room, and the extra bed was fine.
