Rain Cha-Am - Huahin

It’s a quiet, fresh place with lots of trees, and the pool is great for relaxing, especially if your room has pool access. The condominium is very nicely decorated. It would be a lovely spot for a weekend break.

We stayed three nights, and the large pool and spa were the best parts. The beach was beautiful and so private that we had it to ourselves at the time. The location is well away from the busy road and everyone else. Getting around could be tricky without your own car, but it wasn’t a problem for us. There’s a back street with lots of restaurants and cafes about a five-minute walk away. Ask reception or security how to get there. The route is a little confusing but doable. If you want somewhere secluded, quiet and peaceful, this place fits.

The Rain Condo is a few minutes’ walk from the beach, between Cha Am and Hua Hin in Thailand. It has a large pool, a good gym and bicycle rentals for 50 bhat. It’s a nice setup if you’re happy being away from the main towns and spending time walking on the beach. Hua Hin is about a 15-minute drive away, so having a car should be fine. Without one, you could feel stuck around the condo. There’s only a cafe open nearby and not much else to buy, so bring food and snacks. Walking a bit farther down the beach, I noticed other resorts with restaurants that you might be able to visit. The location is great and it’s excellent value. The beds were a bit too hard for us.
