The friendly staff and location near the bars and beach were great. I was there for the bar area, on the street where the bars are. Since it was fully booked, I could only get a tiny, dated room with no window. At 500 baht including breakfast, I suppose I can't complain much, though my breakfast was shocking: one egg, two pieces of cold toast, a cold processed sausage, and some jam. My friend’s pad krapow was much better. The saying that you get what you pay for fits here.

I expected it to look better, like in the photos. The staff were nice and kind, and the service was good. But the bedroom could be improved, especially the bathroom, where the shower wasn't good. Breakfast wasn't good either, and it wasn't continental.

The room was clean, and reception was good. It’s a little small and could use more lighting, but the guest house is in a great spot, close to the beach and a convenience store. I’d give it 7/10. Not bad.

I paid about 60 for the night, and there isn’t really much nearby. I was there for New Year’s Eve, though, and fireworks kept going until 5, so I didn’t get to sleep before then. A few bars stayed open until around 4 AM with a little music.
