U Hua Hin

The bed was so comfortable, with soft pillows and lovely linens, that I could hardly get up in the morning. I also loved the huge whirlpool tub, big enough for two, and the water pressure was great in both the bath and shower. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our two nights at U Hua Hin. They even offered an extra hour for late checkout when I asked, on top of the hotel’s 24-hour check-in and checkout policy. Such a thoughtful stay, and I’d happily come back for another relaxing beachfront break in Hua Hin.

We found plenty to like around the pool: it was warm, clear, about five feet deep throughout, and had loungers, towels, bathrooms, and an outdoor rinse shower nearby. Breeze Bar is right beside it, with a rooftop lounge area. The hotel has a heated pool, a reading room, and a modern gym with treadmills, bikes, rowing machines, and weights. Since the natural beach is only accessible at low tide, the hotel has made a small artificial beach between the sea wall and pool, with tables and chairs when it’s set up. Our room was spacious, clean, modern, and quiet at night, even though it was only two rooms from the lift. It had a balcony, lounge seating, dining table, USB-A and USB-C ports, capsule coffee maker, minibar fridge, Samsung TV, and efficient Daikin air conditioning. The king bed, quality linen, fluffy towels, spa bath, and bathroom fittings were all comfortable and well kept. Breakfast was an excellent full buffet with lots of choices and a chef making eggs or omelettes to order. We also had lunch at the restaurant and ordered room service. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. The location is some distance from Hua Hin city, though there are local restaurants a short walk away and a 7-Eleven about nine minutes on foot. Bikes are available if you’d rather not walk. The staff were welcoming and hospitable, and the concierge and car park attendant deserve a special mention for great service. We enjoyed every moment of our couple of nights here.

Such a quiet, peaceful place, with a spotless cozy room and genuinely helpful, friendly staff. It’s remote, which made it just right for getting away alone and recharging. Worth the trip, and highly recommended.

We stayed three days and two nights a couple of weeks ago. The atmosphere was lovely and the hotel was clean, and breakfast had a good range of choices. Everyone was friendly. P’Tonaor welcomed us warmly and gave us helpful recommendations right through to our departure. Our son got sick during the little chef activity. Chef Tono and his team were so caring, cleaned up, and brought us an inhaler. We had to stop the morning activity, but they kept it going into the evening, and we really enjoyed it. We hope to return.
