Arch39 Phuket Beach Front

Arch 39 was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay, with lovely views of the harbor and boats. We watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets right from the property. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the staff were warm and friendly. It's away from the busy tourist areas, but close enough to get into the action easily when we wanted. A great balance, and highly recommended.

The team made us feel right at home, and the experience was so good that we often skipped going out just to stay at the hotel. The facilities and amenities were amazing, and the staff made the whole visit memorable. Every staff member was exceptional, especially Shin at the front desk. Their customer service should be a lesson for every hotel. Best hotel experience I've had anywhere in the world.

The hotel itself is nice, but I won't be coming back. If you want to sleep late or have a peaceful morning, this isn't the place: boats revving their engines in the morning will wake you. Proper double-glazed windows could help with that. They also removed the gym and put in another rooftop restaurant. I'd have preferred a gym. What bothered me most was all the trash and plastic on the beach outside our room. Arch39 could do a bit to keep its side of the pier clean. Cleaners sweep every day, so they could pick up the pollution scattered by the hotel. The place also needs proper painting and maintenance. Our outdoor furniture was stained and disgusting, with paint on everything except the things meant to be painted. The latches on the connecting metal balcony doors were broken, so another guest could get into our room, and the sliding door locks didn't lock.

Being near the pier is convenient, and the water view is lovely, but it gets loud early. Motorboats and nearby roosters start up around 4 a.m. The price seems high for what's included, and the service could be better. Handy if you need the pier, though probably not right for a quiet, relaxing trip.
