Dlux Condominium

If you’re a student or backpacker, this condominium may suit you, but it doesn’t feel like a hotel. Don’t expect anything fancy or luxurious. The price was cheap, and there were useful basics in the room: a washing machine, hair dryer, microwave, cutlery, and plates. The AC worked in both rooms. The pool was actually quite clean and enjoyable, and the rooftop view was great. The location was alright too. Construction was happening next door, but our room faced into the hotel, so it didn’t bother us much. Parking was very good, and there’s a great bike rental place right beside it. The main problem was the cleanliness. The room was dirty and dusty, with dust everywhere. The furniture was filthy and the shower wasn’t much better. There’s basically no reception. Even the photos I attached don’t capture how the place felt, it was worse, haha. The bed was really the only clean thing.

For a first stay, this was a pleasant surprise. The room was much larger than I expected and would easily fit 3-4 people, even though there’s only one bedroom. The bed was comfortable, and the price was incredibly low. Highly recommend!

There’s no reception, though someone was available to help. The room itself was good. We thought room cleaning would be provided because of the rainy weather in Phuket, but it wasn’t, and the room service didn’t meet expectations.

We had booked 8 days but stayed just one before checking out and moving to another hotel in Patong. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The online photos made it look new or very clean, but the whole floor smelled like a dumpster because the trash room was on that same floor. The room was very dirty and dusty and didn’t look like the pictures. It seemed like something had been cooked or opened and splattered around, then left to dry on the cabinets. Other walls looked as if someone had done maintenance and wiped their hands on them. The patio doors wouldn’t lock. I couldn’t get any real support from the owner or Agoda, just an automatic message saying it was too late to cancel, so I had to take the loss. I’m not very picky, but the place needs a thorough cleaning. It might have a little potential.
