We only spent an hour at the park, and I doubt most people would need more than two. It's pretty and makes a nice place for photos, but there isn't much else to do. Phuket Zoo is close by, costs the same, and kept us there for over three hours, so I thought it was better value. The entry price felt too high. For two adults and two children I paid $64AUD. My card didn't work on the first attempt, then went through on the second, but their local bank converted the charge instead of billing me in Thai baht. I tried to explain what currency I wanted to pay in, but they couldn't understand, so eventually I gave up.

The drive from the faraway location took 45 minutes on the way to big buddha, and the visit was a waste of time and money. Entry costs 500baht for adults and 300 for children, which is overpriced for what you get. The butterfly garden had no butterflies that I could see. I was extremely disappointed and don't think it was worth the trip.

It takes about 35 minutes to drive here from Patong, and the entrance fee is 500 THB. The grounds are well kept and make a nice place to spend an hour. They spray mosquito repellent, but I still got bitten. I didn't see any butterflies in the Butterfly garden, though maybe I just missed them 🤔

There are lots of plants in this peaceful, beautiful place, but most don't even have name tags. For 500 bath, I didn't think it was worth the price. I'd get a better experience at one of the waterfalls.

I visited Phuket Botanic Gardens in February 2016. The garden was small, with limited plant variety, and much of it seemed neglected. My Thai wife paid 100 baht to enter, while I was charged 500 baht simply because I was 'not Thai'. I felt that was severely overpriced.
