Wow Phuket

The staff in the restaurant were lovely and explained all the breakfast choices so well. There was plenty to choose from, and breakfast ended up being my favorite part. I spent five days here with friends, and the staff were super friendly and always ready to help. The place is calm and full of plants, which I like, and the pool is really nice. I recommend it with all my heart.

The staffing was a problem throughout my stay. There was usually just one person at reception, so things took longer. In the room, the shower drain was blocked and caused a small bathroom flood, and the soap dispenser was broken. We reported it all. Cleaning the next day helped the drain, but nobody fixed the dispenser. We also found hair in the shower as soon as we arrived, which made a bad first impression. Having to flag basic issues twice without them being resolved was frustrating, and the poor attention to detail and staff shortage kept me from rating the stay highly.

The pool and outdoor spaces were clean and looked after, and the service was friendly. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, with modern bathrooms and reasonable prices. I’d stay again, but I’d ask for a room on the south side. Rooms on the north side are close to a busy road, and you hear the very loud exhausts of passing cars, bikes, and trucks at any time of day. I know the hotel has little control over that, but it’s useful to know.

I loved all the greenery here, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. Wow Phuket is a really nice place, and I’d highly recommend it. It’s a bit far from tourist spots like Kata/Karon, which can be a plus or a drawback, but it still only takes about 15 minutes to get there.
