4/10
The location is the strongest point. Plenty of restaurants and pubs with live music are close by and within walking distance. Still, 850thb per night feels expensive for what's offered. I stayed two nights. The rooms are small, and everything feels old, though the furniture, TV, and bathroom are okay. The breakfast buffet is poor, there's no balcony, and the AC is centrally controlled, so you can only turn it on or off. In the off-season, breakfast may finish long before the stated closing time.

The location and spacious rooms are the main draws. The rooms are decent, but staff and service are so-so, and the staff aren't good at understanding English.

Good value for money and a nice hotel in the center of Chanthaburi. Banks and hospitals are nearby.

I always stay here when I'm in chanthaburi. It's not the ritz, but the staff, management, and security are all very friendly and polite, and they can't do enough for you.
