We enjoyed our stay in this spacious place, with plenty of privacy and lovely mountain views. The garden is lush, and you can hear the birds singing. With mosquito nets on the windows and door, sleeping without air-conditioning was very comfortable. The owner speaks English very well.

The woman who owns the place was lovely, and the lit walkways were helpful. We had to find dinner elsewhere since they weren't cooking on site, and choices in the village were limited, but that led to a great authentic Thai experience. It was late February, near the end of the dry season, and we were the only guests. It seemed like they might have been almost closed for the season. There's a lot of potential here, and it's a good place to rest and watch the pretty sunrise over the mountains and fields from the window or terrace. The bungalows were spacious enough, with firm beds, very fluffy pillows, and a large shower. They could have been cleaner: I had to clean up quite a bit of gecko droppings that had clearly been there for a while. I understand that's part of nature and didn't mind the ants, but a little more care would help. One duvet strangely had no top sheet. There was construction work going on. Breakfast was simple, with toast, jam, eggs, bacon, and coffee, hot chocolate, or tea.

We spent two nights in a pretty bungalow and had a fantastic view of the mountains. We came by motorbike, though Mui will be offering trips in the future too. Thanks, Mui. Chock dee with Baan Famui from Elisabeth and Maria Bodewes.

Mai and her assistant were incredibly accommodating. We had most of the compound to ourselves during our one night there. Mai is a wonderful cook, and we enjoyed a great meal by a fire on the terrace.

The room is well designed and the quality is good. The mattress is hard, though, and the price feels a little high. I think around 1200 or 1300 would be better.
