Baan Suan La Moon

The garden setting is so peaceful, and each room has a terrace with plenty of privacy. This was exactly the getaway I was looking for. The host is lovely and eager to help with anything you need. She can arrange moped rental, and there are free bikes for cycling into town. She even gave me a lift to the bus station in the morning for my bus to Loei. oneday coffee, with some of the best coffee in Chiang Mai, isn't too far away either. Thank you.

Breakfast was a highlight, with local dishes brought to our patio in the morning. The owner speaks English well and is very kind hearted. The setting is beautiful and quiet, with independent bungalows grouped within the family compound. The mattress was comfortable, though the bed frame might be short for anyone over 6ft, and the rooms are compact. I wished for more power outlets. Free basic bicycles are available for trips to the river or dinner. Parking is limited if you have a car, though we were lucky enough to park next to our bungalow. It was 40C while we were there, so cooling the room took a while, and by 9am it was too hot to sit on the patio.

A private, cozy place surrounded by nature and peaceful scenery. The owner is genuinely kind and speaks good English. We found rich breakfast and good service here.

The garden is nicely maintained, and the bungalow and balcony have tasteful design and planting that give a tropical feel and some privacy. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, including a great mattress and comfortable seating on our private garden terrace. The owners were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was a feast. It's only 300 meters from the walking street. We liked it very much!
