V1 Resort

A peaceful, quiet spot. The price felt fair, and I found the bed very comfortable. Everything was clean.

The cottages were tidy and very clean, and the service was good.

The music from a neighbor was unbearably loud, so I ended up leaving. The owner said he would call the police if it was still going after 10:00 PM, but I put up with it until 10:24 PM, when it got even louder. My partner and I had booked separate rooms so we could get a good night's sleep. The building was old, which didn't bother me much, and I thought being more than 200 meters from the main road would keep car noise down. I'd also asked before checking in whether music might disturb my sleep. After I checked out, the owner refunded only half the money, and I had to find somewhere else to stay in the dark. It was a terrible nightmare.

The rooms are small, but quiet, and what we got was what we expected. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and hot water came through quickly in the showers. In the morning, reception had hot water for making coffee. Walking Street is about 3 km away. Good value for the price.
