60 Bluehouse - Hostel

I stayed for about 5 days, and since it wasn't high season, I was the only guest the whole time. It's a really cute BLUE house, and I loved that. The dorm setup is pretty interesting. The owner and staff were super nice and helpful, and everything was super clean. Convenient spot in a quiet neighborhood, with cheap laundry for 20b. 🤗

The hostel had a lovely atmosphere, kind staff, and no bunk beds. There was a cute outdoor sitting and smoking area, plus a locker key was included. The room also had a mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, dishes, drawers, and a nightstand. A few fixes would make this close to perfect. There's no AC, and nights get really hot. The fan makes a clicky noise, so nobody seemed to want it on. I felt bad turning it on, even though I needed it to cool down enough to sleep. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, and checkout was at 10am instead of 11am. Cleaning started really early, around 8:30. It made it hard to make coffee and breakfast, and I saw a cleaner ask a girl not to use the toilet because it needed cleaning. Mornings are too busy for that, they should clean in the afternoon. There's just one toilet in the dorm and no separate communal hostel bathroom.

The owners and staff were very friendly, and they quickly helped when I had trouble with my credit card while extending my stay. It's a small boutique hostel, simple but cozy, with everything you need: air conditioning, comfortable beds, a terrace, and a good location. The place was very clean. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and it's in a good location. We had a reservation problem, and apparently the hostel hadn't received our payment, so they made us pay in cash while we were still waiting for a refund. The refund eventually came through, but sorting that out was the business's responsibility. What bothered me most was how rude they were about it.
