Baan Hanibah

I’m very happy with my stay and will definitely come back. The price is incredible for what you get, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, bars, cafés, and juice places within about a six-minute walk, even though the lodging itself is peaceful and quiet. The garden is lush and beautifully kept, with interesting plants and the gentle sound of water. It felt like a little sanctuary, and the water sound even helped me find my way back at night. The room and whole building were immaculately clean, and the bedding and bathroom were especially comfortable and well maintained. There are comfortable spots to sit and read, too, with lots of books around the premises. I chose the place because of its high rating, and now I see why. I arrived late, but the hosts left clear instructions and let me register the next morning. They were exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout, and even made a special breakfast for me. The WiFi is very fast. I’d heard a lot about breakfast and it lived up to the hype: fresh, juicy fruit and flavorful bread. It was a refreshing change from the overly sweet, bland bread I’ve often had in Korea. I don’t like eggs, so they thoughtfully prepared a special dish for me.

The mattress was pretty firm, which seems typical for this town, but the sheets and towels were fresh and new. It’s a beautiful old Lanna house in a quiet northeast corner of the old city, with smooth, clean floors, koi fish, good Wi-Fi, a full breakfast, a shared refrigerator, lounge areas, and a library. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly and even kept my bag safe while I was riding the Mae Hong Song Loop. It’s a lovely place with beautiful, clean rooms, a comfy bed, and delicious breakfast. I’d highly recommend it!

The host was wonderful, and I want to thank them especially for taking the time to send my sunglasses, which I’d lost at the property, back to my hotel in Bangkok. This was the best place I stayed in Thailand. The hotel is gorgeous, with a spacious, clean room that was extra comfortable, including the bed. The breakfast was incredible too.
