Baan Maya Nimman

There's water, fruit, cookies, instant coffee, and cocoa available by the entrance throughout the day. The people were very friendly and understanding when I mentioned noise from the neighboring room, some minor construction, and planes. The room was spacious and clean, though a bit dark, possibly because my window looked straight at a wall. It stayed fairly cool even without AC, which was nice. A good place if you want to be near Nimman and Maya mall.

It's in a quiet alley across the street from One Nimman, so the location is good. The road leading there is very busy and difficult to cross. For the price, the place is clean enough, but the bathrooms smelled of sewage. There were mosquitoes in the room one night too. There's no staff on site to check you in or out, though the WhatsApp hotline responds promptly.

The lobby has free fruit and snacks every day, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants about five minutes away. The room was huge and clean, and the staff were really nice. Yellow coworking space is close by if you need to work. I'm definitely going to miss that king-size bed.

We were seven friends and stayed here from 7 - 11 Dec 2023. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and the hotel is handy for Maya Shopping Centre, the bars, cafes, restaurants, and night market around Nimman. You can walk nearby to rent a motorbike, too. There were mosquitoes in the room, though thankfully they provided spray. Maybe it was just mosquito season...haha. The owner also gave us homemade cookies for free, and there's a pantry with a microwave plus free plain water, coffee powder, and 3 in 1 Milo. When I asked about massage, she recommended a place and arranged free rides there and back. That was really kind. We had a good stay and I'd recommend it to friends visiting Chiangmai town.
