Baan Rim Doi

The location was the only real plus for me, and I can't recommend this place. The staff were rude, often on their phones, and the room wasn't very clean. I arrived before check-in, and nobody seemed to care. At other hotels or guesthouses I've been allowed in early when a room was vacant, but here they only said check-in was at 3 pm, without explaining anything, while several staff members played games or chatted on their phones. The worst problem was the ants. I stayed in room 101 beside the office, and it seemed like they had a nest in the door. When I asked to change rooms, they said there were none available and gave me ant spray instead. I used it two or three times a day and found piles of disgusting ant bodies. You can find somewhere better.
