The rooms were clean, with good air conditioning and enough space for our bags, and Aimee kept replenishing supplies whenever we ran low. My father and I felt so at home here that we can’t recommend the place enough. Som Chai and Aimee were incredibly kind and hospitable, treating us like family returning to an old home. They helped us in every way, even lending me a personal item when I needed one. For 30 baht, Aimee and her mother washed, hung up, and folded our clothes. They also supplied bottled water, shampoo, snacks, soap, and more, along with lovely company and conversation. Meeting people so generous and selfless halfway around the world made our trip to Thailand worthwhile in itself. We hope we can come back to see Som Chai and Aimee, and we’ll miss them.

The owners looked after me and were really nice. The service was extremely good, and the place was very clean and cheap. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Asia. Highly recommend.

It’s a lovely couple running the place, and we had some really interesting conversations about life and the state of the UK. The room was clean and nice, though the bed was much too hard for me. Chiang mai Arcade Bus station 2 is only a five-minute walk away.

The room was spotless and spacious, with good air conditioning and a fan. The host was warm and welcoming, and brought us drinks, biscuits, and fresh fruit from a plant in the garden. I’d recommend staying here, especially if you need to be near the bus terminal.

I picked it because it had a high Google rating, and it lived up to that. The welcome was especially warm and helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Highly recommended!
