Breadfruit

It’s a small hotel tucked behind Niman main road, with an elevator serving every floor. The room was a good size, very clean, smelled nice, and the bed was so comfortable I felt at home. Parking right beside the hotel was handy, and there’s a 7-11, hairdresser, and big 24 hour laundromat across the street. Cafes and restaurants along the heart of Nimanhemin Road are all within easy walking distance. The first floor is a cafe, and the owner runs everything herself, which made me feel welcome. I arrived early and she let me into my room without any problem.

I only stayed for a day, but the host’s kindness really stuck with me. On the day I was leaving Chiang Mai, she helped me look for my passport. She was out when I asked, but came back to the building to check. She literally saved my life! A cute place with a good vibe in Nimman, highly recommend.

The deck built around a tree makes this place feel close to nature, even in the middle of Nimman. Outside there’s greenery, and inside it’s bright, with wooden tables and chairs. The coffee is good and they serve breakfast too. The portion was small, but the price was very reasonable.

A friend pointed me here, and I found it cozy and simply beautiful for either a short or long stay in Chiangmai. Breadfruit has the basics covered, with clean bedrooms and bathrooms and sufficient facilities and amenities. Room 401 has a small balcony, and the top-floor view is spectacular. There’s an elevator, so big luggage isn’t a problem. Nimman is a good base, with quick access to cafés, local street food, restaurants, convenience stores, spa & shopping mall.
