Buri Sriping Riverside Resort & Spa

The staff were so friendly and gave us excellent service. We stayed in the ground-floor Family Garden Room, which was clean and spacious, with a big bathroom and strong Wi-Fi. The rainy season brought a few mosquitoes. The atmosphere around the hotel was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. I do wish there were a clearly designated smoking area. Cigarette smoke drifted over while we sat in the chairs outside the restaurant and even when we were in front of our room. We saw guests smoking in the seating area right by the restaurant, so I couldn't tell where the actual guest smoking zone was.

The location is really out of the way, though getting a Grab was easy. I'd probably choose somewhere nearer the center next time, unless I wanted a more secluded stay. This felt more like a four-star hotel than a five-star one. The staff were great and clearly tried hard to give five-star service. The rooms and pool were nice enough, and breakfast was okay, with amazingly attentive staff. The front desk wasn't very informed and couldn't help us find a motorbike rental, even though we later found one just 10 minutes down the road.

The pool and the calm, peaceful feel of the place were lovely, and the whole property was spotless and well looked after. We had massages at the on-site spa too, some of the best we've ever had. The restaurant food was fantastic, every meal delicious and beautifully prepared. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout, so the stay was a delight. We'd definitely come back.

The staff were excellent, from the front desk to housekeeping, and always friendly and helpful. Food was good from breakfast through dinner, although the dinner menu is fairly limited. It was still easy to find something appetizing. At night, though, there were frequent loud sounds in the hallways around 00:30. I don't know if it was maintenance, but it was unacceptable. Some parts of the property also need refreshing. The lobby is beautifully appointed and could be a guide for the rest. The restaurant feels dark and uninviting, and the long table in the middle seems dated for an upscale resort. The dark blue room paint absorbs what little light there is. From the second floor, the umbrellas looked badly stained, and I'm not sure they get replaced. The pool cushions were dingy and didn't feel fresh to lie on. The pool towels were stained too, so they need replacing.
