Chiang Mai Thai House

The pool was the main draw for us, and we spent a few afternoons there to cool down. The property is well cared for, and the rooms were clean with the basic amenities. The beds felt firmer than I'm used to back home in the States, though I'm realizing that's normal here, and I still slept fine. The Old Town location is great for exploring. We were undecided about how long to stay, but ended up extending for several nights. Staff were kind and enthusiastic whenever we asked about availability, and they worked hard around our schedule. When our original room type was booked for the final two nights, they moved us to an upgraded room at the same price. They could have charged us more, so we really appreciated their generosity and understanding. I'd recommend this quiet, clean place.

We had a great five-night stay, and Kiki, Titi, Yoba, Joseph, and the rest of the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Keep in mind there’s no lift, so anyone with weak legs should avoid an upper-floor room. Families with children should also watch the stairs, as some of the gaps seem dangerous. Even with those cautions, it was a wonderful place.

There’s a 7-Eleven only about a three-minute walk away, and the hotel is close to lots of popular sights. The people working there were warm and welcoming, almost like family, and always tried their best whenever I needed help. My stay at Chiang Mai Thai House was really relaxing. I loved it.

The pool was clean and a great way to cool off after a hot day out. There’s also a nice outdoor seating spot with a koi pond. The hotel itself was clean and quiet, the WiFi was fast, and it’s an easy walk to Chinatown market, the weekend markets, the gate, and lots of cafes and restaurants. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. Our AC stopped working on the first night, but they moved us to another room straight away. When we extended, they even upgraded us. If I’m back in Chiang Mai, I’d stay here again.
