Cozy Home by Nan

The room was spacious and clean, and the prices for the laundry service were very cheap. The host also arranged a fantastic free airport pickup. I stayed four nights and would come back when I visit Chiangmai. It’s very close to Maya, and the host was friendly and helpful. I didn’t meet him in person, but I could reach him through Line or other apps, and he usually replied very quickly.

The room wasn’t very clean when we visited in february 2025. There was sticky stuff on the desk that I could wipe off with water, and the linen smelled musty. The entry door was always open, even in the evening, with nobody there to see who was coming in and out. There were some good points: the beds are comfy and on the softer side, which we liked because mattresses in Thailand are often very hard. The woman who checked us in offered to do our laundry for free, and we got it back within a few hours. The location is nice, on a quiet street and only a 3-minute walk from restaurants, coffee shops, and massage places. Our experience this time wasn’t as good as it was five years ago. Back then, we gave it 5 stars for great value, cleanliness, and quiet, and liked the friendly family. Eight pieces of laundry were included 👌👌👌, the AC worked very well, and we had free rides from the airport and to our next stop in chiang mai.

The room locking system needs improvement. On the plus side, the place is clean and spacious, with shampoo, soap, lotion, a kettle, and cups provided. There’s an iron press, a hairblower, and decent WiFi. They also offer free laundry for stays of three days or more.

We felt very much at home at cozy home by Nan and would choose it again next time. The owners are really nice, and the place is quiet. We picked the big room for its large terrace. They washed our big bags of laundry quickly and for free. The neighborhood is lovely, close to Maya shopping mall, with restaurants, coffee bars, and a cool night market nearby. We’ve stayed in two 5*hotels in this neighborhood over the past few weeks when visiting Chiang Mai, but we prefer staying here.
