The only good part of our stay was the housekeeper, who was really nice and polite. Otherwise, we stayed because we had no other choice, and after this experience we won’t return unless we have to. At 13000baht plus water and electricity, the condo was far too expensive and needs a lot of work. The bed was hard as rocks. We were told the previous tenant wanted a Chinese bed, and that was what we found in the room, but nobody had warned us. We slept on it for 30 nights. The room was cleaned just once a week, and each time we had to push to get it done because short-term guests were given priority. That had not been explained either. The room looked nice in the photos, but in person it seemed old, with moisture in parts of the flat. The electricity was the worst problem. All the outlets were loose, so plugging in a phone or the kitchen appliance meant fiddling with the socket. Reception gave us a multi-plug, which worked for a few days, then heated up and stopped. When I unplugged it, one of the pins was burned. Using a two or three pin plug didn't solve the loose sockets. The kitchen sink filter was broken and looked like it had been that way for years. The air conditioning remotes for both units only worked from 20 CMS away, making them useless. There was no organization at reception. On our checkout day, the receptionist said we were due to leave, though the booking ran through the next day. It was very annoying to have to sort this out by messaging the person in charge. It wasted time. We also had to call more than four times to get a quotation. Eventually I spoke with someone on messenger who was more helpful, since the receptionist didn't seem to care about anything we said or requested.
