We had plans to get to, but ended up cancelling them, and getting a Grab or Bolt this weekend was difficult. The hostel had overbooked us, and I still don’t understand why they gave priority to two Chinese guests even though we arrived before both of them. One came just after us, and the other about an hour later. I had to contact Booking.com myself. They refunded my money, and are now working on refunding the difference for the new hotel, which costs more.

Melvin, the owner, was the highlight of my stay. He was so friendly and helpful, showed me good places to train, took me to a great restaurant, and even offered me a ride to the airport. I loved staying here and can’t wait to come back.

The hotel is closed, with everything locked up. They’ll still take your money online, so don’t book here.
