Right in the heart of Chiangmai city, with supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. The room is a bit old, but it's handy for finding food.

The location is about the only good thing. Our room was old and dilapidated, the shower head leaked, the water pressure was low, and there was no hot water. Reception was unhelpful and downright rude. I'd rather stay in a shared hostel than come here. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and it spoiled my family's year-end holiday.

Parking on site was easy, and the room was spacious with a comfortable extra bed. Housekeeping was quick and kept things tidy. The kids loved the pool, and it's close to malls and local food. Our family trip to La Seine City Resort Chiang Mai went smoothly, and we'll come back on our next Chiang Mai holiday.

Everything felt dirty and smelled bad, and the room had a pervasive mold smell. When we told the manager, he said he couldn't smell anything, then refused to move us to another room. The pool was only half full and freezing, so swimming wasn't possible, and there were just three sunbeds. We stayed over New Year's Eve, and this was the worst accommodation we've ever had. We've never encountered anything like it. We can't recommend the hotel and wonder where the good reviews come from. It seems very suspicious.

This was our second stay at La Seine City Resort Chiang Mai, and it was still great. The room is quiet, with blackout curtains, and the water pressure is strong. There's plenty of street food around, and the airport is only a short drive away. Good value for the quality, and a reliable hotel in Chiang Mai.
