Lemon Guesthouse is right in the center, close to great restaurants, but it stayed quiet at night. We spent 6 nights there and really enjoyed it. The place was very clean and the location was perfect. Our room was a little small for two people. If you’re booking for two, check the room size and consider one of the bigger rooms.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is hard to beat for reaching all the "spots" inside the old walls. We stayed about a week in mid-October 2026 at Lemon Guest House. Laem, the owner, speaks great English and knows a lot about activities in and around Chiang Mai. She and her cats make the place feel extremely welcoming. Even after we moved to longer-term accommodation outside the old city, I kept stopping by to chat with Laem. She’s so friendly!

The owner is lovely, and the cats are cute. I really liked Lemon Guesthouse, especially the smart TV, good air conditioning, and great balcony. It’s on a walking street with a Sunday market, and close to 7/11. I can’t fault it and will 100% stay again next time I’m in Chiang Mai.

The owners are friendly, and the guesthouse is quite clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and the bathroom has shampoo, body wash, and even toothbrushes. There’s some nice hand-carved wooden art on the walls. We’ll stay here next time we come to Chiang Mai.
