We only planned to stay two nights for a soft landing, without knowing much about the guesthouse, but ended up adding another week. It's in a lovely, authentic building with big balconies that make it easy to socialize. The location is very good, especially for a first visit to Chiang Mai. Ma, her staff, and the cats welcomed us with so much love and care. They really made it feel like a home away from home.

Mrs. Ma was welcoming and understanding when our transfer from the Lao border ran late. We stayed as a family of two adults and two kids in the upper family room, which had a private bathroom. The location is close to the old town, breakfast was very good, and water, bananas, and laundry were included. We'd happily stay here again.

The host kept checking that everything was going well, and all the staff were kind. We stayed five nights and found the laundry service really convenient. Breakfast was delicious, with bananas available without limit. I highly recommend this warm, welcoming place.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and one laundry service was free. We spent two nights in a room with a shared bathroom. The location was great and breakfast was delicious. There was some dust in the room and bathroom, though the areas that needed to be clean were clean. I'd recommend staying here.
