Nature Boutique Hotel at Chiangmai - Hostel

The room was small, but it was clean and well kept, and the bathroom had everything we needed. The mattress was quite hard, so that may not suit everyone. Reception were friendly and polite from check-in through check-out. We had a good stay and would consider coming back, mainly because of the handy location and helpful staff.

The staff are kind and helpful, and the hotel is a cozy little place right in the town center. You can walk to Chiang Mai’s main places of interest, though I’d recommend renting a motorbike since it costs less than two Grab rides a day. The outside has a distinctive look, but the rooms are tiny and very basic, even if they’re kept clean. Don’t count on quiet nights.

The location is great and my room was very clean, but the hotel doesn’t live up to three stars, maybe two at most. The rooms are small and basic, and the bed is rock hard. There’s a preschool nearby, so it gets very loud in the daytime and I couldn’t take a midday nap. I couldn’t control the shower water temperature, which kept changing. The hotel is on a narrow street, and sometimes Grab drivers can’t get close, so you have to walk to the main road. It isn’t far, but it could be difficult with a lot of luggage.

The staff are the best, and everything else is very good. Just be aware that there’s a kindergarten nearby, so you’ll hear kids during school hours.
