North Inn Town

The hotel is a little farther from Old Town, with few restaurants nearby, so you’ll mostly need to take a Grab to get around. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a really cheap and good option. My room was really big and clean, and the staff cleaned it every day. There wasn’t much communication possible with reception because of the language barrier.

We left two nights early from a four-night booking and checked out at noon after our second night. The walls are hollow with practically no insulation, so we could hear everything from next door. For two nights, we heard very loud snoring reverberating through our room, along with coughing, hacking, and spitting into the toilet all night. It sounded bad enough that we wondered if the neighboring guests needed a hospital. The manager said the hotel had offered us options like changing rooms or cleaning ours because we were worried about catching whatever the neighbors had. That didn’t happen. We asked for a refund for the remaining two nights at checkout and through Agoda, but didn’t get one. The manager is willing to stretch the truth to keep a few dollars, in my view. The rooms look nice at first for the price, but be warned, you’ll hear everything through those paper-thin walls. We’ll never stay here again.

The staff were lovely, and the place was nice and clean. There’s a 7-11 nearby.

We had a quality stay here with my girlfriend. The property is well maintained, and the rooms are lovely and modern. It’s very close to downtown, with lots of Thai food places nearby. The bed was comfy, the shower was spot on, and the staff were really positive. We paid around 500baht per night for our stay in chiang mai, and I’d definitely stay again.
