PLANETA120.24

I spent a couple of weeks at Planeta 120.24, and it was quiet and peaceful apart from the planes overhead, a sound I’m oddly used to from other places I’ve lived. The hotel is very new, so everything was in tip-top shape. My room was clean and modern, with a nice shower room and a small balcony kitchen with a mini fridge, sink, and microwave. The staff were sweet and helpful, and the on-site café made good coffee, tea, and snacks. The internet was very fast, which mattered with my many daily work video calls. You’ll need a scooter, car, or at least a bicycle, since it’s some way from Nimman and Old Town. Still, it’s a pleasant place for a few days or weeks, and I recommend it.

We stayed about a month at Planeta120.24 and really liked the atmosphere and the unusual, fascinating design and layout of the building. The people there were lovely, and their recommendations, local knowledge, and advice were wonderful. Feels like we’ll return when our paths bring us back around.

I needed a couple of days to unwind on my road trip, and this place was just right. The breakfasts were amazing, the staff were lovely, and the whole place felt magical, fun, beautiful, and delicious. I’d say go for a ride while you’re here. Leaving was hard! 🌏😊

It feels like a home away from home in Chiang Mai, with friendly staff and a service apartment setup. There’s also a small cafe where you can get coffee, snacks, and Thai food.
