The free bike rentals were easy to use, and the bikes seemed to get checked and repaired every day. Chiang Mai is nice to explore on two wheels since there aren’t any steep climbs. Laundry was inexpensive, and they had hangers for drying clothes. The hostel itself has lovely decor, and Add, the owner, was so sweet and welcoming. Rooms are cleaned daily. There’s no sign to say whether housekeeping should clean or leave the room alone, and there’s no safe, but we didn’t have any problems during our stay. I’d definitely recommend it for an easy stay in Chiang Mai.

My room was roomy, bright, and comfortable, and the front desk manager was incredibly kind and accommodating. The place is away from the tourist crowds but still near plenty of good restaurants, cafes, motorbike rentals, and Thai massage shops. I’d happily stay here again.

The hosts made the stay for us. They were warm and so helpful, sharing great tips for tours, restaurants, and more. We also got to chat with them about Thai culture, and they speak perfect English. I stayed at Plern Plern bed and bike for three days with three friends, and we all had an amazing time. The rooms were spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels, and had the essentials, including power strips, converters, and hair dryers. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

We ended up extending our month-long stay twice, which says a lot. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and quick to answer questions or requests. Our room was extremely clean, with daily cleaning, and it was great value for what we got. The neighborhood is quiet and laid back, with local character and relaxed restaurants and bars. Nimman and the Old City are close by. My husband and I were extremely pleased with our stay, and I definitely recommend the place.

There are plenty of food options nearby, and the area generally felt safe. I came to Chiang Mai hoping to find somewhere quiet and convenient to relax, and the hosts’ hospitality, the clean rooms, and the decor really impressed me. I’d highly recommend it for a short stay, whether you’re travelling alone or with family.
