We loved our stay at Raya Heritage. The setting beside the Ping River is peaceful, and the care put into the details is clear all around the property. Our Rin Terrace Suite was so comfortable that we often preferred to relax in the room. Its design, quiet feel, and surroundings all came together beautifully. The pool was a welcome way to cool off after time in the Chiang Mai heat. Meals and drinks were another pleasure. Breakfast at Khu Khao was excellent, dinner there was relaxed and lovely, and high tea at Laan Cha Tea Terrace suited the calm riverside mood perfectly. We also had outstanding massages at Al Waan Spa, among the best spa experiences of our trip. The warm, attentive staff made everything feel thoughtfully run. Raya Heritage was a deeply relaxing retreat, and we absolutely loved it.

The people here made the biggest impression on us. Every staff member we met was warm and lovely, remembered us, and used our names. Breakfast was another standout, with immaculate a la carte service and delicious, high quality dishes. We preferred it by far to the huge generic hotel buffets you often get. The grounds are beautiful and exceptionally clean, and our room was very spacious with an incredibly comfortable bed. A couple of little things: the AC was a bit noisy, and having the minibar and snacks outside on the balcony felt strange, though neither was a big issue. We chose a top floor room over the pool option, since we probably wouldn't have used the pool. The river view was partly blocked by trees and a roof, but that didn’t bother us. The hotel is 20-25 minutes by cab from the old town, and we never had trouble finding a Grab. It sits among a local area, so there’s some daytime noise from across the river, but nothing unpleasant. We had an amazing few days, and if we come back to Chiang Mai, this is the hotel we’ll stay at.

The room was beautifully designed and comfortable, with a majestic feel, a very comfortable bed, generous space, and a luxurious, well designed bathroom. Service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. I especially appreciated First helping me work out transport for my later plans. The restaurant was excellent. I was surprised to find some of the best khao soi here, better in my opinion than at a few Michelin recognized khao soi shops. The seasonal yi peng tasting menu was fun, though not mind blowing, and breakfast from the a la carte buffet was excellent. It’s a bit remote, but transfers to town and other destinations are available. Honestly, staying on the property was relaxing and comfortable. I had a fantastic few days.

The staff were outstanding, always helpful, warm, and welcoming, which made the stay especially enjoyable. Raya Heritage is a small boutique hotel with clean, well kept rooms and thoughtful design, and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. One thing caught us by surprise: room service was closed on Christmas Eve, so we had to go out to get lunch. It would have helped to know ahead of time. Even so, it’s a very good hotel, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, high quality stay.

The quiet location just outside Chiang Mai made for a restful break from the city’s noise and traffic, while still being close enough to get around easily. The property feels luxurious but has a strong local character, with spacious, elegant, comfortable rooms and thoughtfully designed facilities. Service was impeccable from arrival onward. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly cared about making the stay special, with every detail handled professionally. I had an excellent stay at Raya Heritage. It’s a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary, and I’d absolutely return.
