Sakulchaiplace Hotel

What stood out most was how thoughtful and discreet everyone was, from the security guard and front office team to the breakfast gentleman and housekeeping staff. They were all polite and helpful. We stayed at Sakulchai Place for three weeks and had a great experience. It’s affordable and well located, within walking distance of Nimman, and the Old Town is easy to reach on foot too. Our room was quiet and comfortable, the bed was very comfy, and housekeeping came daily. Breakfast was decent. The pool was chilly but still nice for cooling off in the afternoon, and there’s a laundry service across the street. Thanks to everyone, we’ll definitely be back.

A quiet spot on a side road, not too far from Nimann area. I’ve stayed at Sakulchai when arriving or departing by flight, and a friend and I also spent a month here years ago without complaints. The beds and sleep matter most to me, and these beds let my back relax without me having to think about it. It’s a safe place to sleep, away from mosquitoes and with little to no sharp noise.

The toilet bowl is old and its cover is broken, and some of the gym equipment needs fixing. Aside from those issues, I was satisfied with my stay. The room was old but clean, the food was good, and the location was quite accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cleanliness was my favorite part of this affordable hotel. We paid just 699 THB for one night, and it even has a pool. A lot of budget hotels in Chiang Mai don’t have elevators or private bathrooms, but this one has both. I’m not sure how close it is to the city center and well-known areas, but that was fine for us because it’s near popular restaurants we wanted to try, including Khao Soi Mae Sai and Huen Muan Jai.
