The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the laundry service was very affordable. It’s a perfect venue, close to a daily night market for dinner and a short walk from old city attractions.

The biggest drawback was the Wi-Fi. It got so slow it was sometimes unusable, which could be an issue if you’re relying on it because of limited mobile data. Our room was at the end of the hall, though, so it may have been specific to that room. The hosts were kind and flexible, letting us check in early after an exhausting overnight bus trip. Breakfast was terrific and cooked to order. A lovely little place, though the busy, fast road outside has no sidewalk, so taxis or Grab are better than walking.

The owner makes this feel like a home in Chiang Mai. There are lots of plants and thoughtful decorations, and she always gave us a warm welcome when we returned. She also shared useful suggestions for places nearby. We stayed in the family suite, which was set up like connecting rooms with separate bathrooms. The location worked really well, just minutes from the old town and about a five-minute walk to Chang Phuak Night Market. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The garden gives the villa a lovely feel, and there’s plenty of privacy. Ours had a loft with two queen beds plus a separate bedroom downstairs. It’s peaceful, with One Nimman, Maya, and the old city all within walking distance. Breakfast is included, and the staff were happy to suggest attractions around Chiang Mai.
