We appreciated how friendly and professional the front desk staff were. The problem for us was the setting. The corridor on our floor was very dark, and the atmosphere felt heavy and uncomfortable. All four of us felt uneasy as soon as we went into our rooms, and two friends quickly became anxious and short of breath. There may be a perfectly reasonable explanation, but the feeling was unsettling and hard to ignore. This was just our personal experience, but we checked out soon after arriving and moved to another hotel. We later explained what happened when we requested a refund through Trip.com, but it was refused. The staff weren't the issue. The poor lighting and uncomfortable atmosphere meant the property didn't meet our expectations. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

The breakfast was the best I've had in Thailand, and the restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating. The eggs and fruit were superb, too. I did find the vegetarian selection limited because the tofu vegetarian soup wasn't available every day. The rooster in the morning wasn't a problem, it actually added to the authentic feel. It's a good distance from the city, and Bolt is cheap. Great location, a really good stay, and the air conditioning worked very well!

I had the French toast every morning for four days straight, it was that tasty! The breakfast was great, and everything was clean and beautiful. The hotel is in a quiet spot, apart from a rooster that I found pretty funny. Local food and massage places are close by, and the South Gate market is under a 10-minute walk away. A-roi! I loved the location.

We visited two years ago for my birthday, then came back this year for my boyfriend's. If you ask, they can provide a birthday cake. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is really good. Khlong Mae Kha and a 7-Eleven are just a five-minute walk away. I'd love to stay here again next time.

My family spent 12 days here and loved it. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was refreshing, and breakfast and happy hour drinks were included. The beds were so comfortable, and even the guest pajamas were great. I slept better here than anywhere else in two months of traveling. The water pressure was excellent, too. The staff were lovely, and they helped me get my electronics working in the fitness room so I could stay active on rainy days. You can get to the old city quickly from here, at a more affordable rate. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.
