Villa San Pee Seua

We stayed over Christmas in the townhouse with room for six, along with our three teenage children, and had a wonderful time. The garden beside the river felt like a little slice of paradise, with hammocks, chairs, and tables to relax in. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, with air-conditioned bedrooms and all the facilities we needed. Although it's a little way out of the city, we easily got taxis or cars through Bolt and never paid more than about £5 for the five of us. We appreciated the peace and quiet outside the city. The friendly staff went out of their way to welcome us and help arrange transport to local attractions. Breakfast was delivered to our room every day and was lovely. I'd recommend the French toast! You can also order food and drinks to your room, garden, or pool, all at reasonable prices. There's a small kitchen area with free tea and coffee, plus lots of games and books to borrow. I'd thoroughly recommend it as a base for exploring Chiang Mai, especially for a larger family. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

The pool looks out over the river, and there's a towel service. The restaurant menu is great, with both Thai and Western choices. For the money, it's extremely good value, and we'd return if we're ever back in Thailand. We spent six nights at Villa San Pee Seua in the spacious family room, which had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The smaller bedroom is next to a busy street and can get noisy. Apart from that, it was a very comfortable stay. The staff deserve special praise for helping with everything, big or small.

The peaceful setting made it easy to relax, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We spent two nights at Villa San Pee Seua and had a really good stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was very good, and the service was excellent. A great place to stay, highly recommended.

We had a family room and found the service especially friendly. The hotel sits right by the river, with attractive shared spaces and a swimming pool. Most places in the city were about 15-20 minutes away. We had a car, though you don't have to have one.
