I spent two weeks at the hotel. The location is great, the staff are fantastic, and they’re lovely people who are always ready to help. The room cleaning was also up to a good standard.

We found dried coffee splatters on the desk and headboard when we entered the room, and the hotel felt run down and poorly maintained. The beds were rock hard, the pillows thin, and the AC unit so loud and noisy that we couldn’t sleep. During our four-night Chiang Mai stay, we ended up booking two nights at another hotel. A hotel worker said she hadn’t taken our 500 baht room deposit and that the hotel doesn’t take deposits. We likely got scammed in this case, and she refused to return our money. This place was very overpriced, and we wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were nice, and the hotel is near a good hospital, though quite a walk from the main Tempels. We decided not to have breakfast at all. It felt like a Chinese hotel with Chinese quality rather than European standards. I’d say it’s overrated.

The owner and staff were lovely, and they even treated us to breakfast because a festival was happening that weekend. The area was peaceful, with places to eat nearby and a good location. I was happy with what we got for the price.
