End Feb 2026 | During my four months of traveling in Southeast Asia, this was the best hostel I stayed in. I can't think of any negatives. The building's mix of historic and modern style, the garden, common room, clean bathrooms, and spacious dorms all made it a great stay. It's quiet in the evenings and at night, and free water refills mean you don't need to buy plastic bottles. A bonus for cat lovers is the house cat wandering around. If you're allergic, she doesn't go into the dorms or bedrooms, and there's plenty of open air ventilation.

I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful hostel. The peaceful atmosphere has quiet hours after 10, and the beanbag chairs in the TV room made it a nice place to hang out. Wi-Fi was consistently strong, and the room AC always worked. The lockers under the beds were large and secure, and staff were very helpful whenever anything came up.

A relaxing place to stop for a day or two if you'd rather have a quiet hostel than a busy party scene. You can get a scooter delivered to the hostel for a very cheap price, around 150 baht. From there, it's a straightforward ride to everything you'd want to see in Chiang Rai.

It's a little outside the centre, but the few extra dollars for this modern hostel are worth it. One of the best I've stayed in: very clean and comfortable, with super friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast.

The hostel is gorgeous and well located. Rooms have plenty of space, large lockers, bed curtains, and AC. There's a lovely garden and other shared areas, all well maintained. And there's a cat ❤️
