Breakfast runs from 6 to 9am, even on Sundays. The selection was just about ok, with cold fried eggs and sausages, though there was hot rice and other food too. The reception area is fine, but the rooms are plain, basic, and have no flair or decoration. It felt like somewhere group bus tours might arrive late and leave early the next day. I don't like giving low ratings, but the hotel just didn't inspire me. Sorry M Boutique.

This doesn't feel like a four star hotel, more like a hostel. My room was dirty and terribly moldy, and it looked nothing like the pictures on google!

The hotel isn't right in the center, though Chiang Rai itself seems spread out, so that wasn't a problem. The accommodation is modern and nice, with a clean pool and a small fitness gym as a bonus. Breakfast was a buffet with a good range of Thai and Western choices. Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful.

The room was a complete mess. Even the floor could only be called as "clean" as the bed. I can't tell whether this reflects the room cleaning or the way problems are managed. I'm posting this to bring it to the attention of anyone who may be concerned.

The rooms were fairly clean, but not spotless, and the service was great. It's pretty average otherwise, and quite far from the night bazaar, so expect a 15-20 minute taxi ride.
