Sirimunta Hotel Chiang Rai

The location is a bit far from points of interest if you don’t have a car, and a few stairs are uneven enough that you could stumble if you aren’t paying attention. The TV only has Thai channels, which is reasonable, but the internet is strong enough to stream from your computer. Even with those things to keep in mind, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Thailand for this price, and I’d definitely return. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and did a great job.

Good value for money. The room was large, comfortable and nice, and it’s close to Chiang Rai and 7-11.

It’s centrally located near markets and places to see, and the rooms are convenient as well as super clean. The cleaning stands out in every corner, and they keep the rooms this clean every day. Hands down, it’s the cleanest hotel I’ve seen in Thailand. I’d be happy to stay again.

Khun Kate, the owner, was polite and helpful, and the price makes this a tremendous value. The building is well maintained, with parking if you have a car, and it’s a short walk to Central Plaza and Big C supermarket. The room was laid out really well: a big king size bed, lots of wardrobe and shelf space, a separate sofa seating area, and a kitchen with a large, efficient fridge. The shower and toilet room were nice, and everything was clean and tidy. There’s no breakfast, but you can pick up what you like at the nearby supermarket and prepare it in the kitchen. This was a marvellous find. I can’t imagine being disappointed.
