Wangcome Hotel

The staff are very friendly, and the area is convenient for markets and the bus terminal. But the rooms are quite outdated, the beds feel like stone slabs, the walls are paper thin, and the door locks don’t feel secure. Breakfast is below par by Asian hotel standards. The reviews seem accurate, and I wouldn’t stay again.

It’s in a central spot, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and massage places nearby, and there’s a good amount of parking. Breakfast is available too. The reception and staff were nice, but it’s an older hotel, and the rooms look a little dated. The room itself was a decent size and worked as it should, though it felt a bit expensive for what you get. The bathroom could be updated. Bathtubs used to be normal, but a shower would be a better choice now. Don’t try climbing into the tub after a few beers, it can go wrong, and your body needs time to recover.

The location is great, with the night market about a five-minute walk away. Honda BigWing takes eight minutes, and restaurants, bars, and traditional Thai massage shops are all nearby. The staff are professional and courteous, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Always a pleasure to stay here.

It’s centrally located in Chiang Rai’s popular tourist area and has a large, secure car park. The staff were professionally dressed and the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel has old facilities, but they were surprisingly still working. It’s seen better days, and it costs more than nearby hotels.
