A good economical place to stay, with polite staff, though their English is limited. The chalet is comfortable and no frills, overlooking Golden Triangle Park. Some rooms across the road have only a limited view. Getting there means about 1 km from the main road, with the final stretch on a steep road in poor condition.
There’s a raised ground-level deck with a private table and chairs, and secure bicycle parking on the terrace. The bungalow was used but the bed was comfortable and the aircon worked well. There’s a fridge and freezer in the room. The shower had soap and shampoo dispensers, with plenty of hot water. The TV has satellite, and after a long search I found France 24. The uphill road gives access to the female statue, which you can’t see from below.
Nothing special, apart from the three-country border point.
13/12/21. The rooms were very nice, and the hosts were great. They helped us with everything we needed. Really good value for money.
Really beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere and no noise bothering us. Very good!
