Korat Resort Hotel

The pool was nice, and breakfast was okay. Rooms were clean, though the resort may not be the newest. It’s a pleasant area for a morning walk.

I slept in a huge premium room, or whatever the category was called, though the air conditioning was noisy at night. The hotel itself is old but well maintained, and the staff were kind and helpful enough to make me feel at home. Breakfast was a la carte.

The staff were friendly, the Wi-Fi was fast, and breakfast was good with a Western style. The hotel sits outside the city, with nothing nearby except its own restaurant. From the outside it looks good, but indoors it feels worn. Some paint needs attention, and power sockets are hanging loose from the walls. The pool is currently unusable and so dirty you can’t see the bottom; they couldn’t say when it would be fixed. I was told there were no double beds, though the pictures show otherwise. I changed rooms after the first night, so check yours before settling in.

It’s a big, nice place, though a little old. I didn’t try the pool, but it looked clean enough. Breakfast was somewhat basic, which I can understand since it was after Corona and there weren’t many people staying.
