The pool was good, and the place was tidy and seemed to have been repainted recently. The area and hotel are very quiet. I arrived on a Tuesday and wasn’t sure anyone else was staying there, as there were only a few people, though quite a few more arrived over the weekend. The room fittings show their age, but they were okay to live with. I stayed five nights and the room wasn’t cleaned or the rubbish taken out at all. The walk to the beach or McDonald’s, where there are more bars and restaurants, is a little far but doable. The 7/11 is almost as far, which is a bit inconvenient, or you can take a 40 baht motorcycle ride. For the price, it’s good. I didn’t see any bugs.

Bad smells, bugs, and no soundproofing made this the worst hotel I've stayed in. The staff were rude too. Don't spend your money here.
