Seabreeze Bangsaen

The room wasn't especially remarkable, and the facilities felt old, but it was spacious and had good airflow. I didn't need the air conditioning during my stay. I booked mainly for the sea view, knowing what earlier reviews said. On my first day, I accidentally left my luggage on the bus from Bangkok to Chonburi. The short-haired receptionist was incredibly kind and attentive as soon as she heard what happened. She handled things quickly and professionally, and I got my suitcase back within 60 minutes. VERY VERY PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. The coffee staff were also friendly and helpful, and recommended a drink I really liked. The doors need work. They take force to open and close, and make a lot of noise that could disturb other guests. I was on the second floor and could also hear loud engines and people outside on the street, which affected my sleep.

For what I paid, this worked well for me. The room was spacious, with a standard clean toilet, lots of walking room in the bedroom, and a balcony overlooking the sea. Staff came to service the room daily, which was great. I liked that the hotel is a little away from the livelier pubs and clubs. That also meant I could sleep early. It's a lovely spot to watch the sunset over the sea each day.

The location and sea view were good for the price, and that's one star. The room, though, was old, mouldy, damaged, and missing things. From check-in to check-out, the service was the worst I've experienced in Thailand.
