Symphony of The Sea

The private beach and seaside location were why I picked this hotel, since I wanted a peaceful, private stay. But a filming crew was there during my visit, and it didn't feel private as I'd hoped. I'm quite disappointed, and expected the hotel to handle the situation better for its guests.

There’s a private beach and a 250m bridge that's good for exercise. The hotel is small, with a few sea-facing rooms and some facing the “mountain”; the rooms are clean and nice, and have balconies. There’s also a restaurant. It sits in the same condominium complex, less than 1km from Sukhumvit Road, and is around 5km from Bangsaen main beach.

The sunset is amazing, and I'd visit again. The beach and seawater are very clean, and the beach is private. From the highest floor, the balcony has an unobstructed sea view, with Pattaya visible in the distance. The room is new and cozy. Breakfast was great, especially the pork porridge, winter melon soup, and bitter gourd soup. The pool isn't heated, but the afternoon sun warms it up. One problem was the water heater, which kept alternating between hot and cold. The path by the adjacent unoccupied hotel building could use lights or a fence at night to help prevent someone falling. A gym would be great too.

After four days in Pattaya, we really needed somewhere quiet, and this place was extremely peaceful. The sunset was beautiful, and the pier was great for a run or a walk. We were happy to get back from our dinner at VT Naemnueng, a 7 minutes drive from the hotel, in time to enjoy it. On the second night, mosquitoes invaded our room, so we had to move. They put us in another room and we managed to sleep. It's a lovely place to stay in and enjoy the spectacular view. Breakfast was OK on the first day, then delicious on the second morning, especially the best rice fish soup. We stayed two nights.
